J2 RC Shop ("we", "us") operates this Canada-only storefront. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the site.

Information we process

• Browsing: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed may be processed by our hosting provider (Vercel) in server logs.
• Cart: product selections are stored in your browser (local storage) on your device. We do not receive your cart until you start checkout.
• Checkout & payment: when you pay, Square collects payment, contact, and shipping details on Square-hosted pages. We do not store card numbers on our servers.
• Stock requests: if you click "Request stock" on a sold-out item, we store an anonymous demand count for that product (no name or email is collected for that action).
• Support email: if you email j2shopsupport@gmail.com, we use the information you send to respond to your request.

How we use information

We use order and shipping information to fulfill purchases, prevent abuse, improve the storefront, and respond to support requests. Stock request counts help us decide which items to restock.

Service providers

• Square — payments, checkout, and order/shipping collection.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Upstash Redis — optional storage for stock-request counters and rate limiting.

Retention

Order records are retained as needed for fulfillment, accounting, and legal obligations via Square. Anonymous stock-request counters may be kept until we clear them. Browser cart data stays until you clear it.

Your choices

Shipping region

We only ship within Canada. Providing a shipping address outside Canada may result in an order we cannot fulfill.
